Dr. Maria Supnet-Gozun, DDS earned her Doctor of Dental Medicine with honors from the University of the East in the Philippines in 1987. After establishing a private practice and providing comprehensive general dentistry in Manila, she immigrated to the United States, where she earned her Doctor of Dental Surgery from the prestigious New York University College of Dentistry in 1997.

Now calling the New York area home, Dr. Gozun opened her current private practice in 2001. For over 20 years, she has provided compassionate, high-quality dental care to patients throughout the New York City area.

Known for her gentle and thorough approach, Dr. Gozun has built a loyal patient base focused on long-term oral health. She specializes in all areas of general and cosmetic dentistry, including exams, diagnosis, restorative treatments, emergency care, root canal therapy, teeth whitening, and Invisalign. With over 30 years of clinical experience, she is committed to listening carefully and treating every patient like family.

Her patient-centered care has earned her recognition by the Consumer Research Council of America as one of “America’s Top Dentists.” She stays current in her field through active membership in the American Dental Association and the Academy of General Dentistry. Fluent in both English and Tagalog, she proudly serves a diverse patient population.
Outside the office, Dr. Gozun has been married to her husband Ben for over 30 years and is a proud mother to two accomplished children, Christopher and Alexa. She enjoys staying active, prioritizing both physical and mental wellness, and exploring new places through travel and adventure.

Dr. Christopher Gozun, DDS grew up on Long Island and received his undergraduate degree from the University of Connecticut. He went on to earn his Doctor of Dental Surgery from New York University College of Dentistry, where he was the recipient of the prestigious F. Edward Herbert Armed Forces Health Professions Scholarship and commissioned as a 2nd Lieutenant in the US Army Reserves. Following graduation, he was promoted to Captain, transitioned to Active Duty, and completed the Comanche Advanced Education in General Dentistry (AEGD) Residency Program at Fort Sill, Oklahoma. Dr. Gozun was then assigned as a Dental Officer in support of the 10th Mountain Division in Fort Drum, New York until 2025.

During his time in service, Dr. Gozun continued his education by completing numerous continuing medical and dental education courses. This experience includes attending courses through the Naval Postgraduate Dental School in Bethesda, Maryland; and completing the US Army Advanced Clinical Practice (ACP) Program in General Dentistry, earning the AMEDD 9F Medical Proficiency designator. He keeps his professional experience updated through membership with the Academy of General Dentistry; having earned Fellowship status prior to his military separation.

Outside of the office, Dr. Chris enjoys traveling, exploring new restaurants, and staying active year-round through his passion for golf and snowboarding.

Our clinic support team is made up of Jennifer, Janyll, Jasmin, and Chelsea. They make sure you don't miss your dental appointments, the place and dental tools are always clean and well maintained, and that you are always well taken cared of.

Our in-house hygienists, Shu Ping Ching and Chulan Xu (Kay), are probably the best hygienist in town. Gifted with a delicate touch, they are also very well experienced and very thorough. We guarantee you'll leave our clinic with a cleaner teeth, a fresher breath, and a step closer to healthier gums.
